"Waste Of Time"

Always I'm out looking for adventure.
Always looking out for someone new.
Always missing out on something,
Never knowing why.
All I ever wanted,
Was you.

Took a job that travelled thinking that would find my soul.
But every city seems to look the same.
Something simply missing,
Maybe I should travel on?
So far from home where part of me remains.

But I still keep on looking, never knowing quite what for.
Maybe somewhere further down the line?
I watch these lonely sunsets,
With no-one here to share them.
Hey, isn't that a cryin' waste of time?

I finally got tired of waking up hotel rooms.
Seemed I was searching for some thing I'd left behind.
So I come home to realise
You just got tired of waiting.
I was wrong,
And now you're gone.
And I'm too late to change your mind.

But I still keep on looking, never know quite what for.
Maybe somewhere further down the line?
I watch these lonely sunsets here,
But you're not here to share them.
Babe, isn't that a cryin' waste of time?
